#01: Design process
This is a demo design exercise to show the design process I use for a product design. I get lots of queries about the design process. So I thought why not show the process involved instead of just showing screenshots of the finished project.
Shown below are the basic steps involved in any product development. The process may vary according to the complexity of the project and each step may take several iterations.
LiveReport App - Concept and Ideation
LiveReport is a simple app for real time reporting of an event to a selected audience or for private note taking. The app has a simple chat interface that most smartphone users are familiar with. This makes it easy for taking notes with text, images, audio and video and sharing it.

Sketch and Brainstorm - An useful process to document Ideas.
During the initial brainstorming or discussion with the client I do a sketch of the ideas and user flows. This is always a useful reference for the next stages of the the project.

Personas and Scenarios - Helps understand your audience and user experience
The following image shows two scenarios where LiveReport App is used,
Karen shares her daughter Tara's 5th birthday party photos and videos realtime with her dad and sister who lives in different cities.
Rakesh is a freelance journalist preparing a report on Bengaluru airshow. He does not share the report realtime. Instead he exports the report as a document file, proof reads it and emails the final report to his chief editor.

Wireframes - This is a very useful step to show your stakeholders various elements and interactions of the app.
High fidelity mockups - Gives the look and feel and branding of the application

LiveReport App Identity - Important part of branding

#02: UX design plan for 'Sportsflow' app for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (pitch)
My role: Client interaction, Wireframe and Mockup creation

It is a fully customisable app where the user can select the news feed of choice with notification option. The user can also use the chat option to find people with similar interest and chat with them.

Sketch and Brainstorming:
Shown below is a sketch done during the discussion/ brainstorming session with the client.
The main aim of this app is to help the user find the latest sports news from around the world in one place. The sketches shows how the user can choose their favourite sport and customise the news feeds.

Persona and Scenario ( with mock up screens)
We created a persona called Jacob, a young working professional who likes football and follows English Premier League.
And the below scenario explains the main features of the app which would encourage Jacob's friends to download the app.
